Acuity Scheduling handles your bookings, but it doesn’t see the calls you miss while you’re with a client, so in most setups those callers simply hang up. Fix it on your phone line: when a call goes unanswered, text the caller your Acuity Scheduling booking link.
Find your Acuity Scheduling online booking link (in your Acuity Scheduling settings or your booking page’s address bar).
Use a business number that Zapier can see missed calls from, e.g. OpenPhone or Twilio. Check your plan.
In Zapier: trigger = your phone app’s missed-call event. Action = send SMS to the caller.
Paste the message below, with your Acuity Scheduling link, then call yourself from another phone to test.
Hi, it’s [Salon]. Sorry we missed your call, we’re with a client. Book here: [your Acuity Scheduling link], or reply and we’ll call you back. Reply STOP to opt out.
