- Reminders: use your booking platform’s built-in reminders where possible.
- Waitlist backfill for cancelled consults.
Privacy cautions
- Don’t put treatment names or health details in texts or automation logs.
- Acuity notes that Zapier isn’t compatible with Acuity’s HIPAA-enabled setting. If you rely on HIPAA features, check with your vendors before connecting automations.
- Get explicit consent to text, and include STOP wording. See SMS compliance.
